Joan (Iverson) Hansen

Joan (Iverson) Hansen, 76, lifelong resident of Superior, WI died Sunday, June 30, 2019 at Superior Health and Rehabilitation. She was born on August 13, 1942 in Baraboo, WI to Tilford and Marian (Melcher) Iverson.

She graduated from High School and lived most of her life in La Crosse, WI. She moved to Superior many years ago and worked as a cashier at Super One on Oakes Avenue in Superior.

She married Robert Hansen and they celebrated many years of marriage before his passing. Joan always said Robert was her one true love.

Joan is survived by her daughters, Suzzane Jackson and Kellie (Rick) Jacobson; son, Robert Hansen, Jr.; four grandchildren, Andy, Trent, Paden and Kayla; and five great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert; parents; and infant brother.

A Celebration of Life and Time of Remembrance will be held from 2:30-4:00 PM, Friday, July 5, 2019 at the Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home, 1209 E. 5 ^th Street, Superior, WI.
