John C. Anderson

John C. Anderson, 54, Superior, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 in Superior. He was born in Superior on October 23, 1960 to Stanley A. and Donna Jean (Johnston) Anderson.

He graduated from Superior Senior High School and went on to graduate from WITC in 1981.

John was employed as an assistant manager for United Refrigeration in Duluth for over twenty-five years.

He was a Ham Radio operator and was a member of the Arrowhead Amateur Radio Association and his call sign was AF9T. He also enjoyed going to auctions, Geo Caching and dirt track racing.

John is survived by two brothers, Neil (Tami) Anderson, South Range, WI, Ben (Petra) Anderson, Superior; three sisters, Jean (Merlyn) Leih, Merrill, WI, Donna Armstrong, Jordan, MN,  Karen (Joe Eykholt) Solheim, San Jose, CA and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Sam Anderson and a nephew,

Chris Armstrong.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM and will continue until the 2:00 PM Funeral Service on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at St. Alban the Martyr Episcopal Church, 1510 New York Ave., Superior, with Fr. Steven Burns, officiating.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers for the service will be his nieces and nephews, Tracy Elke, Malibu Springer, Jennifer Anderson, Brad Anderson, Rob Armstrong, Richard Leih and Jordan Anderson.
