John "Jack" Glonchak

John “Jack” Glonchak (93), lifelong Superior resident died, December 28, 2022 at Ecumen Lakeshore, Duluth, MN.

He was born in Superior, WI on December 2, 1929, the son of Joseph and Frances (Kuchmek) Glonchak.

Jack graduated from Central School and went on to UW-Madison for certification in mechanical engineering.  He went on to serve his country honorably in Korea as a member of the United States Army.

He was a longtime member of Cathedral of Christ the King Catholic Church, and more recently attended St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.

Private family services were held for Jack at Cathedral of Christ the King Catholic Church in Superior. Military honors were accorded by American Legion Richard I. Bong Post #435.
