John "Keith" Cameron

November 13, 1951 — December 9, 2020

John “Keith” Cameron took his last adventure on earth the morning of December 9 th , 2020. He was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on November 13, 1951.

He lived a life of love and laughter and was a bit of a prankster. To know him was to love him. One of his greatest joys was traveling, whether it was taking a cruise with friends, traveling thru Europe, or just riding to the Twin Cities to visit friends. His adventures also included owning his own restaurant “The Round Table” in northern Minnesota, a chef for a cooking show, a chef for several restaurants around the country, a merchant seaman, lab technician, personal care assistant, just to name a few. Wherever he went, he left a trail of smiles and laughter with his stories and one-liners.

His loved ones waiting to welcome him on this journey are his dad and mom, David and Josephine Cameron and his niece Pamela Mayfield.

Keith will be missed by his brother, David “Scott” (Michelle) Cameron; sister, Cheri and brother-in-law, Chuck Duvall; nephews Charles (Machiko) McNearney, Robin McNearney, Jeremy and Joshua Cameron; nieces Erica McNearney (Justin), Lorelei (Scott) Rein, along with many grand nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by extended family and friends, with whom he created special memories, Cloe Duvall, Dean Belich and Tammy Erkkila.

A Celebration of Life will be held next summer. (If you would want to be included please let Keith’s family know).

The Downs-LeSage Funeral Home, 1304 Hammond Avenue, Superior is assisting the family with arrangements. To leave an online condolence or to sign the guestbook, please visit www.downs-lesage.com .
