Kandis Goeke

Kandis “Kandy” Goeke, 64, passed away at home in Altoona, WI on Tuesday April 8, 2025. She was born the daughter of Willard E. and Patricia (Sanders) Goeke on August 5, 1960.

Kandis was a 1978 graduate of Superior Senior High School, and she worked for the Douglas County Foster Parent program for many years.

She loved to tell jokes and make people laugh. She enjoyed watching TV with her daughter, especially Hallmark Channel & Lifetime movies. Her favorite program to watch was Love on the Spectrum and The Way Home. Shopping was one of her favorite pastimes, especially at Wal Mart & on Temu. Kandis kept busy with various crafting projects. She enjoyed painting ceramics, but most importantly loved her plants. Kandis enjoyed many pets but always had a love for her birds.

Kandis is survived by her daughter, Kendra Goeke, Altoona, WI; son Kelly Goeke, Altoona, Wi; grandchildren, Julien and Emma Goeke; sister Kim (Ronald) Kiminski, Oliver, WI; nieces Kortney and Kaylee Kiggins; and many grand dogs.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Karna Kiggins, & many uncles, aunts, & cousin's.

A Celebration of Kandis’s Life will be held from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Shamrock Pizza, 5825 Tower Ave in Superior.
