Karen J. Rivero

Karen J. Rivero, 62, longtime Superior and Las Vegas, NV resident, died on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at the Solvay Hospice House in Duluth, MN. She was born in Superior, WI on November 7, 1954.

Karen graduated from high school and was longtime waitress and a Health Care Advocate.
She was a member of The Salvation Army.

Karen really enjoyed living in Superior and Las Vegas, NV. She enjoyed going to rummage sales with her two best friends, Lois and Ruthie, watching movies with her daughter, Patrice and reaching out and helping others.

Karen is survived by her daughter, Patrice Nyberg-Cheselski, Superior, WI; three grandchildren, Dan (Kali) Nyberg, Ashley (Shane Murphy) Cheslski and Jarrid Cheselski; seven great-grandchildren, Sophia, Gabby, Landon, Aiden, Mia, Preslie and McKenzie; sister, Carol (Roy) LaValley Dahl, of FL and several nieces and nephews and her two cats, Misty and Faith.

She is preceded in death by her mother Rose Faucett.

Services for Karen will be held later this spring.
