Kasey Jones

Kasey Jones, 26, Manhattan, New York and formerly of Superior, died Tuesday, June 16, 2015 from injuries sustained in an accident.

She was born on April 4, 1989 in Everett, WA.

She was a graduate of Superior High School in 2007 and went on to receive her Bachelors of Arts Degree from UWS where she was a member of the Phi Sigma Sigma Sorority where she held many offices.

Kasey moved to New York one year ago to pursue her career in photography. She was employed as a barista at Plowshares Coffee Roasters.

She loved all photography and all art media. She would ride her bike all over New York and was very fond of all animals.

Kasey is survived by her mother, Jennifer Schmitt, Superior; her father, Michael Schmitt, Superior; her maternal grandmother, Susan Hem (Pete Hollosi), Lake Stevens, WA; paternal grandparents, Gerald and Judy Schmitt, Superior; her four beloved cats and many, many friends and relatives.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Monday, June 22, 2015 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, 1924 Wyoming Avenue, Superior.

Visitation will continue at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, June 23, 2015 in the church until the 11:00 AM, Memorial service with Pastor Sarah Kerkes, officiating.
