Katherine A. Converse

Katherine A. Converse died Friday, February 28, 2025, at Mayo Clinic St. Mary Campus in Rochester, MN. She was born the daughter of Glenn Converse and Margaret (Barton) Steltz, in Coupeville, WA on June 11, 1957.

Kathy enjoyed puzzling and taking day trips with her housemates from Woodview Group Home. She enjoyed the many friendships she formed over the years with fellow clients and staff at the Challenge Center in Superior.

Katherine is survived by her stepbrother Larry (Dawn) Steltz, Superior, WI; uncle Jody (Terry) Tetzlaff, Superior, WI; and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her mother; stepfather Oscar Steltz; brother Daniel Converse; and her birth father, Glenn Converse.

A private service for Katherine will be held in Superior at a later date. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Superior on April 25, 2025 at 12:00 PM.
