Kathleen M. Anderson

Kathleen M. Anderson, 59, lifelong resident of Superior, received her angel wings on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Solvay Hospice House in Duluth surrounded by her family. She was born in Superior, April 11, 1958, the daughter of Paul Beck Jr. and Shirley (Larson) Beck.

Kathleen was a graduate of the Superior Senior High School class of 1976. She continued her education at the University of Wisconsin Superior, and later received her degree in visual merchandizing from WITC. Kathleen worked at Glass Block/Younkers for thirty-eight years in the visual department.

She married the love of her life, Douglas Anderson on June 28, 1980, and they celebrated thirty-seven years of marriage before her passing.

Kathleen was a member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church, and the Alpha XI Delta women’s sorority in Superior. She was a talented artist, and enjoyed graphite drawing.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Douglas, Superior, WI; lovely daughter, Jaydeen Anderson, St. Paul Park, MN; son, Joshua (Liana) Anderson, Superior, WI; grandchildren, Aubrielle, Kai and Grayson; mother, Shirley Beck, Superior, WI; brothers, Douglas (Joanne) Beck, Superior, WI, Ronald (Cindy) Beck, Eau Claire, WI; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father, Paul Beck Jr.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 20, 2018, at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 820 Belknap Street, Superior, and will continue until the 11:00 memorial service with Pastor Will Mowchan officiating.
