Kathleen Mae (Kenville) Hill

Kathleen Mae (Kenville) Hill, 87, of Superior, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family, Sunday, October 13, 2019 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth, MN. She was born on August 7, 1932 in Superior, WI to Harter and Lillian (Laberdie) Kenville.

Kathleen was a 1950 graduate of Cathedral High School. She worked in food service at UWS and was a bartender at the former Capt Cliff’s and Brooklyn Taverns.

Kathleen attended Cathedral of Christ the King Catholic Church and was a member of the former St. Louis Catholic Church. She loved women’s slow pitch softball and played for many years in league. She was an avid Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers fan. She also loved to golf.

Kathleen is survived by two sons, Thomas Hill, Prairie du Chien, WI and Patrick (Wendy) Hill, Superior, WI; seven grandchildren, Staci (Joe) Rosman, Hunter (Renea) Hill, Joseph (Tabitha) Hill, Jessica Brown, Christine Hill, Theodore (Jessica) Hill and Ricki Cabrera; twelve great grandchildren, Alyssa Hill, MacKenzie Hill, Austin Szewcik, Kimberly Szewcik, Isaiah Brown, Emerie Brown, Kyla Rosman, Michael, Nikolas and Allison Valentine, MaKenzie Hill and Mikayla Drinkwine; seven sisters, Carole Sigfrids, Superior, WI, Marcia Hawkins, Lyndon Station, WI, Claudia Kenville, Milwaukee, WI, Claudine Grund, Abilene, TX, Annette Brunswick, Iron River, MI, Joy Meehan, Long Beach, CA and Gloria West, Superior, WI; two brothers, Jarred (Pat) Kenville, Superior, WI and Mark Kenville, West Salem, WI and several nieces and nephews.

Kathleen is preceded in death by her parents; son, Rick Hill, Jr; sister, Barbara Backlund and two brothers, Harter Kenville and Al Kenville.

A Time of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 12:00 PM at the Downs-LeSage Funeral Home, 1304 Hammond Avenue, Superior, WI and will continue until the 2:00 PM Celebration of Life and Service of Remembrance with Fr. Andrew Ricci officiating.
