Kathleen "Kathy" Diane (Kauti) Sletten

Kathleen “Kathy” Diane (Kauti) Sletten, 65, Superior resident, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Essentia Health St Mary’s Hospital in Duluth, MN with her family by her side. She was born on March 8, 1953 in Superior, WI to Eino and Loretta (Severin) Kauti.

Kathy graduated from Superior Senior High School in 1972. She worked at the Breakwater Restaurant for many years. Kathy enjoyed playing cards, crossword puzzles, planting flowers in the spring and going to rummage sales. She was an avid Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers fan. Kathy loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.

Kathy is survived by two sons, Chad Sletten and Brian (Lisa Chadderdon) Sletten, both of Superior, WI; two granddaughters, Alexis and Kendal Sletten; three sisters, Bonnie Lucas, Lorraine Aho and Patty Kauti and many nieces, nephews, cousins and her extended family at Breakwater. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Wilbur, Roland, Dennis, Earl and Gerald Kauti and Lavern Johnston and sister Linda Hancock.

Visitation will be from 4:00- 6:00 PM on Friday, March 23, 2018 in the Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home, 1209 E. 5 ^th Street, Superior and continue until the 6:00 PM memorial service with Chaplin Bob Barnes, of Essentia Health, St Mary’s Hospital, Duluth officiating.
