Kathleen M. “Kay” Fiedler, 79, lifelong Superior area resident, died Thursday, December 25, 2014 peacefully in her home.
She was born January 21, 1935 in Superior, WI to William and Mary (Clark) Holcomb.
Kay was employed as a bookkeeper at Jack’s Auto Repair for many years.
She married Albert “Jack” Fiedler on July 15, 1970.
She was a longtime member of the Women of the Moose and a member of the Two Harbors Humane Society.
Kay enjoyed cooking and baking. She also enjoyed caring for her grandchildren, cats and birds.
Kay is survived by her husband, Jack of 44 years; three daughters, Rene (Allan) Svir, Two Harbors, MN, Cindy (Paul Doyle) White and Ann Berkhof, both of Superior, WI; one son, Mark Burton, Superior, WI; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Mary Jean Rivord and brother Billy Holcomb.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 – 3:00 PM on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at the Choo Choo Bar and Grill, 5002 E. 3rd Street, Superior.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at 2:00 PM officiated by Bobby Lancour.
The Downs-LeSage Funeral Home, 1304 Hammond Avenue, Superior is assisting the family with arrangements.
