Kathryn Eugenia Wilson

Kathryn Eugenia “Kit” Wilson, 88, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at Villa Marina Health and Rehabilitation Center in Superior, WI. She was born the daughter of Kathryn (Bonn) Wilson on April 9, 1937 in Rice Lake, WI.

She graduated from Superior Central High School, class of 1956, and went on to earn an education degree at University of Wisconsin. She was employed as a teacher for many years within the Wisconsin public school system.

Kathryn was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Solon Springs. She supported her community by volunteering with the Historical Society and Museums and was a member of the Lions Club of Solon Springs. The Beargrease Sled Dog Race was an event she particularly enjoyed.

She loved tending her doll collection, Arts and Crafts projects and going on adventures.

Kathryn is survived by her sister, Alice Pierce; nephews: Richard Pierce, Allan Pierce, Robert Pierce, David Pierce, William Crowley, and James Crowley; nieces: Marry Kuss, Tigger Crowley Porter and Terri Crowley; and various great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Katheryn Wilson; sister, Bunny Crowley; niece, Carol Pierce; and brothers-in-law, Ed Pierce and Harry Crowley.

A Celebration of Life begins at 5:00 PM on Friday, August 29, 2025 at Vintage Italian Pizza (VIP), 1201 Tower Avenue in Superior. Internment of the ashes will be at a later date.
