Kenneth A. "Cannon Ball" Pettit

Kenneth Albert “Cannon Ball” Pettit, 68, lifelong Superior resident, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2023, at Essentia Health St. Mary’s in Duluth, MN. He was born on January 1, 1955, in Superior, the son of Emery and Emma (Wallin) Pettit.

Cannon was an avid Harley Davidson rider and loved the wind in his chin. He took pride in being a member of ABATE of Wisconsin, a motorcycle rights and safety organization, and the PIGS Give, a motorcycle group dedicated to giving back to their community.

Cannon was also an avid Green Bay Packers fan but above all, he loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his longtime companion, Patti Remington; son, Kenneth (Kendra Kellerman) Pettit, Minneapolis, MN, and his brother, Randy Pettit, Superior.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his son, Steven Pettit, brothers, Terry, Steve, Jack, and Emery Pettit, and his parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00-4:00 PM, on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at the Log Cabin, 2821 County Road E in South Range, with a Service of Remembrance at 3:00 PM offered by Brian Schumacher.
