Kevin T. Gille

Kevin T. Gille, 34, longtime area resident, died unexpectedly, Tuesday, December 3, 2019 in Maple, WI. He was born in Amery, WI, May 15, 1985, the son of Thomas and Clarene (Walimaki) Gille.

He graduated from Northwestern High School in 2003, and went on to earn his degree in Civil Engineering from Lake Superior College. He later worked as a Field Tech for Braun Intertec in Duluth, MN.

Kevin was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing the Brule River. He enjoyed long distance running and was a member of a cross-country ski club. He was also a classic snowmobile enthusiast, and in his spare time, enjoyed rebuilding them.

He is survived by his beloved mother, Clarene Jakubek, Maple, WI; brother, Nick (Kitty Rooni) Gille, Maple, WI; sister, Natalie (Shane) Cass, Carlton, MN; nieces and nephews, Parker Gille, James Cech, and Noah, Kyra and Gabe Cass; Kevin’s step-mom, Judy Gille, Cromwell, MN; step-sister, Ellen (Joe) Burke, Yorba Linda, CA; step-nieces and nephew, Judith, Jaynie, and Jameson Burke; step-brother, Greg Drozdek, Shakopee, MN; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends;

He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Gille in 2018; maternal grandparents, Arvo and Alice Walimaki; and paternal grandparents, Harold and Florence Gille.

Graveside Service will begin at 11:00 AM, Friday, June 12, 2020 at Maple Memorial Cemetery.
