Kim M. (Dhooge) Schillinger

Kim M. (Dhooge) Schillinger, 57, longtime resident of Wausau, WI, formerly of Superior, died Thursday, April 4, 2019 in Wausau, WI. She was born in Superior, May 12, 1961, the daughter of Gerald A. and Kay F. Dhooge.

Kim graduated with honors from Superior Senior High School in 1979. She went on to earn her bachelor’s of science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Superior, and St. Luke’s school of Medical Technology. Kim had a long career as a Medical Technologist for the Marshfield Clinic, and Manager for the State of Wisconsin for many years.

Kim was multi-talented which included piano playing, she played the clarinet in the high school band, gymnastics, was on the swim team, high diving, and water and snow skiing. She enjoyed live music, reading, sewing and knitting; loved and cared for animals, from dogs and cats to her fish aquariums, bird feeders and any living creature found in the woods at the cabin.

She is survived by her beloved parents, Jerry and Kay Dhooge, Solon Springs, WI; sister, Karen Moschet, Eden Prairie, MN; brothers, David Dhooge, White Bear Lake, MN, and Dale (Jodie) Dhooge, Elk River, MN; nephews, Devin Dhooge, Thomas Moschet; niece, Kaitlyn Dhooge; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and special Aunt, Janet Ledin.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 1, 2019 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 4315 E. 3 ^rd Street, Superior, and will continue until the 11:00 AM Memorial Mass of Christian Burial with Rev. Fr. David Neuschwander and Rev. Fr. Lee Flaherty will concelebrate the mass.
