Laura Ann Carlson

Laura Ann Carlson, 78, Superior resident, died Saturday, December 3, 2016 at her home. She was born on April 15, 1938 in Superior, WI to John and Jennie (Laskoski) Sislo.

Laura worked as a bank teller for the M& I Bank for over thirty-five years until she retired in 2000. She was a member of Cathedral of Christ the King Catholic Church, Eagle’s Auxiliary, and the Thaddeus Kosciuczko Polish Club. She loved to spend time at her Webb Lake cabin with her husband. She enjoyed family gatherings at her home for all occasions especially Christmas.

She is preceded in death by her husband Lyman, her parents and two brothers Bernard and David Sislo.

Laura is survived by one daughter, Patty (John) Kienzle, Superior, WI; two sons, Tim (Debi) Carlson, St. George, UT and Todd (Mary) Carlson, Superior, WI; four grandchildren, Mike and Kelly Kienzle and Brittany and Brandon Carlson; two great-grandchildren, Adrien and Jaelyn Ellerby; one sister, Barbara (Ed) Fisher, Superior, WI and one brother, James (Pat) Sislo, Superior, WI and one sister-in-law, Peggy Sislo, Superior, WI and many nieces and nephews and special friend, Gene Cole.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 8, 2016 in Cathedral of Christ the King Catholic Church and continue until the 12:00 PM Mass of Christian Burial with Rev. Fr. Andrew Ricci as celebrant. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Superior.
