Lawrence “Pete” Coda, 91, formerly of Maple, WI, died Thursday, March 18, 2010 in Solvay Hospice House, Duluth, MN. He was born on March 10, 1919 to Peter and Helen Coda.
He served in the United States Army during World War II.
Pete was employed as an electrical engineer for Superior Water Light and Power, retiring in 1979.
He is survived by a son, Richard (Judy), Maple, WI; a daughter, Rosann (Kenneth) Larkin, Hudson, WI; six grandchildren, Wendy (Brian) Stauty, Renee (James) King, Tracy (Dennis) Paquette, Joseph (fiancé Tracy Lane) Coda, Jessica (Nikolai) Alenov, James Larkin and ten great-grandchildren.
Pete was preceded in death by his first wife Amelia and his second wife Ann.
Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM and will continue until the 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, March 22, 2010 in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. James Tobolski, as celebrant.
Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery.
