Lendora A. Roberts

Lendora A. Roberts, 97, Superior resident, died Thursday, August 5, 2021, at Villa Marina Health and Rehab in Superior, WI. She was born on October 15, 1923, in Lawler, MN and was the 3 ^rd child of James and Agnes (Betker) Piggott.

She graduated from Central High School in 1941. On March 2, 1946, she married William F. Roberts at Cathedral of Christ the King Church in Superior and on June 6, 1950, their son, Michael was born. In June 1953 they moved to Medical Lake, Washington and were employed at Lakeland Village, a state school for the developmentally handicapped. Upon retiring, they spent summers in Medical Lake and winters RVing the USA. In 2006, Lendora returned to Superior following her husband Bill’s death in 1998 and her son, Mike in 2005.

She is preceded in death by her husband Bill, son, Michael, parents, stepfather, Duncan Cameron, brothers, Clayton and LeRoy, and sister, Adeline Kilgore Ely.

Lendora is survived by very lovely nieces, nephews, great, great-great, and great-great-great, nieces and nephews in Superior.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 PM, Thursday, August 12, 2021, at Calvary Cemetery in Superior with Rev. Fr. Andrew Ricci officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Lendora’s name to the Douglas County Humane Society (her son Mike’s favorite charity) or a charity of your choice.
