Leroy C. Edwards

Leroy C. Edwards, was born May 14, 1952 in Clarksdale, Mississippi to Edward and Irene (Redford) Edwards. Leroy moved to Chicago in 1972 and became owner of Edwards Repair Shop. Leroy then moved to Minnesota in 2000 to reside with his son, Mario. In 2016, Leroy married his wife, Ernestine then moved to Superior, WI, where he started working for Walmart Corporation and many other places. Leroy worked his butt off!

Leroy passed away on Friday, June 7, 2019. He is survived by his wife, Ernestine Edwards, his sons, LaMario (Carmen) Hubbard and Phillip Wrights; step-daughter Lamesha; brothers, Greg (Jessica) Motherway, Derrik (Tasharia) Crumb, London Jones, James (Carla) , Odell (Loveli); sisters, Dianne (Andrew) Jones, Mary Talbert, Rosetta Crumb, Tolernisha Jones, Shanquella Jones and Della Willis of Clarksdale, MS; Sherry (Robert) Burford, Milwaukee, WI and Dr. Ruby Houlihan of Coral Spring, Florida; grandchildren, Tyshaun, Malik, Kemon, Malia, Kiemari, Terion, Tyrese, Akedia, Delainey, Amirah, Aminah, Shacarla, Dejah and great-grandchildren, Kamden, Rylea and Titus.

A Time of Remembrance and Celebration of Life will begin at 11:00 AM on Sunday, June 16, 2019 and continue until the 1:00 PM  Service of Shared Memories at the Downs-LeSage Funeral Home, 1304 Hammond Avenue, Superior.
