Leroy “Lee” Seemuth, 77, longtime Superior resident, died Saturday, February 11, 2017 at his residence.
He was born on August 16, 1939 in Ashland, WI to Arnold and Irma (Smith) Seemuth.
He served his country in the United States Navy.
Lee was the owner/operator of East West Reality in Superior’s East End from 1973 to the 1980s. He then went on to full time appraising and retired in 2007 from Seemuth Appraisal.
He was a member of the former First United Methodist Church in East End of Superior.
Lee is survived by two sons, Michael (Corinne) Seemuth, Panama City, FL and Jeff Seemuth, Superior, WI; one granddaughter, Alexandria (Coy A.) Christmas, Town of Superior, WI; two great-grandchildren, Coy T. and Hadley Christmas, several nieces and nephews and lifelong friend, Meredith Manley, Superior, WI.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Mae in 2001 and sister Lynn Anderson.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM on Monday, February 20, 2017 at Faith United Methodist Church, 1531 Hughitt Avenue, Superior and continue until the 11:00 AM memorial service with Pastor Joel Certa-Werner officiating.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Superior.
The Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home, 1209 E. 5th Street, Superior is assisting the family with arrangements.
