Lily Angeline (Martell) Botosh, 97, formerly of Iron River, WI, died Tuesday, May 16, 2017 in her home in Castro Valley, CA.She was born on November 24, 1919 in Iron River, WI to George and Elva Martell.
Lily married William J. Botosh in 1942 and they celebrated thirty-eight years of marriage before his passing in 1980. She was a member of the Iron River First Presbyterian Church, VFW, 4-H, all scouts and the Green Thumb Club. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing, crafting and farming.
Lily is survived by her children, George (Brenda), Alta, Kenneth, Rodger (Mary) and Loretta; thirteen grandchildren, Melissa (Mark), Steven, Luana (Doug), Mike (Teresa), Angel (Don), Theresa (Robert), Marlene, Darlene (Jason), Casey (Jon), Buddy (Diana), Kim (Jeff), Keasha (Glen) and Shawna (Jesse); twenty-three great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Gracie, Robbie, Jeannie, Jimmy, Donald, Dani, Oliver, Dream, Daylin, Dalton, Alexa, Taylor, Armela, Austin, Ashley, Nick, Riley, Dexton, Idella, Xander, Jarrett and Arrick and four great great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband William and her parents, daughter Elva, grandson Buck and son-in-law Bret, her siblings, Marjorie, Glenn, Walter, Gladys, Ray, Bill and Leslie.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 26, 2017 at the Tripp Town Hall, 8630 County Hwy A, Iron River, WI and will continue until the 11:00 AM funeral service with Pastor Jack Van Horn. Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery in the Town of Tripp.
