Lina E. Pellman, 81, Brule, WI, died Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Middle River Health and Rehabilitation Facility.
She was born on February 23, 1933 in Oulu, WI to George T. and Lina A. (Niemi) Johnson.
She married George R. Pellman on July 10, 1954 in Duluth, MN and celebrated 53 years of marriage before he passed away on March 30, 2008.
Lina was employed and retired after many years as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Middle River Health and Rehabilitation Facility.
She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Oulu, WI where she served as the organist for over 25 years.
Lina is survived by two daughters, Susan (Charles) Kampanath, Thailand; Shirley (Randy) Tuura, Brule, WI; one son, John (Ann) Pellman, Maple, WI; five grandchildren, Christie and Melissa Kampanath, Jarrett and Logan Tuura and Dustin Soyring; two great-grandchildren, Money and Emmarae; one sister, Gladys “Liz” (Ernest) Pellman, Maple, WI and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband George, she is preceded in death by her parents, one son, Raymond Soyring; an infant grandson; a sister, Ruth Maki; a brother George R. Johnson and a special niece, Betty Ann Sutherland.
Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM until the 10:30 AM Memorial Service on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at the Hope Lutheran Church in Oulu, WI with Pastor Scott Stai, officiating.
Burial will be at a later date in Hillcrest Cemetery in Oulu.
Lina’s family would like to thank the staff at Middle River Health and Rehabilitation Facility and Dr. Basem Goueli of St. Luke’s Cancer Center for their care and compassion shown to Lina.
