Linda Ellen Rose

Linda Ellen Rose, 59, resident of Maple, WI died at St. Mary’s Hospital on Sunday, December 18, 2022 in Duluth, MN due to complications of over a year-long battle with COVID.

She was born in Wright, MN on May 17, 1963, the daughter of Kenneth and Lorraine (Peterson) Hamren. She graduated from Cromwell High School in Wright, MN. Linda was united in marriage to Timothy Rose on July 11, 2014 in Superior and they celebrated eight years of marriage before her passing.

She was employed by Super 8 Hotel in Superior, and had worked for Anderson Chiropractic, and previously with K-Mart for over 20 years.

Linda loved spending hours in her garden and enjoying the backyard swimming pool while her beloved German Shepherds Stryker and Bailey kept her company.

Linda is survived by her husband Tim Rose, Maple, WI; sons Cordell Boody and Taylor Rose, both of Maple, WI; sister Gale (Richard) Thuermer, Mishicot, WI, niece Elizabeth Thuermer and nephew Kenneth Thuermer; beloved canine companions Stryker and Bailey; friends of her Superior Super 8 family and her adopted family in Biloxi, MS.

She is preceded in death by her parents and special longtime friend Lloydene “Gidget” Stoddard.

A Time of Remembrance and Celebration of Life will be held from 12-3 PM, Saturday, January 21, 2023 at VIP-Vintage Italian Pizza, 1201 Tower Avenue in Superior.

Inurnment will take place on a later date in the family cemetery in Wright, MN.
