Linda Lee Tuinei

Linda Lee Tuinei, 72, Superior, died Sunday, March 2, 2014 at St. Francis Home in the Park.

She was born on November 4, 1941 in Superior to William and Lucille (Klein) Nikula.

She graduated from the former East High School and attended Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College.

Linda was employed with the United States Social Security Office for over thirty-five years.

She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Superior, the Ruth Society affiliated with the church and was very active with church bazaars and Sunday school.
Linda enjoyed baking, cross stitch, painting ceramics, going for walks and dancing.
She liked to watch crime shows and had a lifelong crush on Tom Selleck. Her greatest pleasure was spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

Linda is survived by one daughter, Repeka-Lynn (Ahmad) Tuinei-Williams, Superior; one son, Tofa Tuinei, Jr., Superior; four grandchildren, Ethan, Evan, Renaeah-Lynn and Aiden and one sister-in-law, Kathie Nikula, Superior.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Ray Nikula.

Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM and will continue until the 3:00 PM Funeral Service on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Christ Lutheran Church, Superior with Pastor David Schoessow, officiating.
