Lloyd D. Skustad

Lloyd D. Skustad, 71, lifelong resident of Superior, died peacefully, Saturday, July 13, 2019 at home. He was born in Superior, November 15, 1947, the son of Lloyd L. and Lorayne M. (Soderberg) Skustad.

He graduated high school in Superior and went on to earn his associate’s degree. He managed the M & C Gas Station and was an HVAC and sheet metal worker for many years before his retirement in 2018.

Lloyd served his country honorably in the United States Navy from 1966-1970. He was united in marriage to Sandra Berg in June 1991, and they recently celebrated twenty-eight years of marriage before his passing.

Lloyd enjoyed working with his hands and was always working on some project. He will sadly be missed by his wife and family.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Sandra; daughters, Laura (Scott) Charette-Skustad, Ashland, WI, Christine Lorimor, of Florida, and Heather Lorimor, Superior, WI; sons, Lloyd “Rusty” (Sarah) Skustad, Chamberlin, SD, Lee (Rhonda) Lorimor, of Kentucky, and Bruce (Jennifer) Lorimor, Superior, WI; fifteen grandchildren; sisters, Kari Jo (Stephan) VanLopik, of Illinois, and Peggy (Jay) Wiechert-Koch, Oshkosh, WI; several nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and granddaughter, Jodi Skustad.

Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM, Saturday, July 20, 2019, at the Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home, 1209 E. 5 ^th Street, Superior, and will continue until the 1:00 PM memorial service.
