Lois J. Gaiovnik

June 7, 1946 — April 3, 2025

Lois Jayne Gaiovnik (Queen), 78, passed away on April 3rd, 2025. She was the wife of Robert Gaiovnik, and they shared 59 years of marriage together.

Born in St Paul, MN on June 7th, 1946, to Ralph and Doris Queen, she graduated in 1964 from Webster High School in Webster, WI. On July 24th, 1965, she married the love her life, Robert Gaiovnik at the Catholic Church in Webster, WI.

She spent her life in the service of others, working over the years at the Shack restaurant, So-Fro fabrics, Hallmark, a bridal boutique, and assisting seniors in their homes. She loved music, all dogs, taking care of the local wildlife, antiques, and was famous for putting up multiple beautifully adorned Christmas trees each year.

She will be remembered for a heart that was too big and too good for this world, and she never missed sending out cards for any event in the lives of those she loved. She took joy in little things like folding dollar bills into origami shapes and giving them away and in having a beautiful outdoor garden in the warmer months.

There was no task too big or too small for her to offer her assistance with, she often made microwavable rice bags to help people manage their aches and pains. She loved to laugh and had a wicked sense of humor. If music was playing, she wanted it played loud. She never met a dog she did not love, and they all adored her as well.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; daughter Molly (Grant) Johnson; sister Vicki (Roger) Tollander; sister-in-law Alice (Richard) Alsen; as well as nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Doris; her elder brother Dale Queen; and her beloved dogs Sissy, Cammy, Josie, and Lexus.
