Louise J. Hoyt

Louise J. Hoyt, 65, South Range, WI resident, died Saturday, August 27, 2016 at St. Luke’s Hospice in Duluth, MN. She was born on May 1, 1951 in Superior, WI to Louis and Mabel (Lord) Hoyt, Sr.

Louise worked at the former Fieldview Manor, Superior and Park Point Manor, Duluth for several years in the laundry department. She enjoyed playing bingo, reading, puzzles and bird watching. She had a deep love for her pets, Penelope, Angel and Bigfoot.

Louise is survived by two brothers, Jack Hoyt, Superior, WI and Fred (Amy) Hoyt, IL; one sister, Mary (Arthur) Edwards, IL and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Louis Jr., James, Clifford, Daniel, Wallace, Gerald and Roy and sisters, Genevieve, Fannie, Beatrice and Virginia.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM on Friday, September 2, 2016 in the Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home, 1209 E. 5th Street, Superior and continue until the 11:00 AM memorial service with Pastor Corrine Anton of Central Assembly of God Church officiating. There will be a luncheon to follow the service and burial will then take place at the Gordon Cemetery.
