Lucille Marie Idziorek

Lucille Marie Idziorek, 93, departed this life Monday, March 21, 2011 with family by her side.


Lucille was born into this life May 22, 1917 to George and Theresa (Stramer) Huber in Superior WI.


She graduated from the former Cathedral High School and was employed as the office manager of the Coca Cola Company in Superior for many years.


Lucille married the love of her life F. Joseph Idziorek II on November 21, 1945.


Lucille was a member of the Cathedral of Christ the King Catholic Church and its Altar Society and the Catholic Daughters of America. Lucille was also a supporter of the Alzheimer’s Association.

Lucille relocated to Appleton after the passing of her beloved husband. She resided at Brewster Village for the past 8 years. Lucille was an avid gardener and loved tending to her rose bushes. She also had a passion for watching the Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badger football games with her family. M&Ms and Dairy Queen Blizzards were two of her favorite treats especially peanut butter cup to satisfy her sweet tooth. She loved spending time with friends and family like baking cookies with her grandson Chad and shopping and watching the game show network with her granddaughter Jeanna.

Lucille is survived by her two sons, F. Joseph Idziorek III (Dorothy) of Phoenix AZ, and William B. (Carol) Idziorek, Superior, WI and daughter Rozanne (Brian) Rasmussen, Appleton, WI; seven grandchildren, Michelle, Diana, F. Joseph Idziorek IV, Nicole, Kristina, Chad and Jeanna; two great grandchildren, Zachary and Chloe along with many nieces and nephews.

Lucille is preceded in death by her husband, F. Joseph Idziorek II, daughter Suzanne Marie, her parents, father and mother in-law, brother Clarence (Evelyn) Huber, sister Annette (Robert) Tribbey, brother-in-laws Leonard and Robert Idziorek and sister-n-laws, Lois Idziorek and Jackie Geske.

The family would like to thank all of the wonderful staff at Brewster Village who took such loving care of Lucille for all of the years she was there.

Visitation will begin at 4:00pm, Sunday, March 27, 2011 at the Downs-LeSage Funeral Home, 1304 Hammond Ave, Superior with a Scripture Service to be held at 5:00 PM. Visitation will resume at 10:00 AM, Monday, March 28, 2011 at Cathedral of Christ the King Catholic Church and continue until the 10:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial with Rev. Fr. Andrew Ricci as celebrant.

Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Superior.

Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Cathedral School or to the Alzheimer’s Association.
