Luke Joseph Voigt

Luke Joseph Voigt, 9, Iron River, WI, passed away on Saturday, August 18, 2012. He was born on September 10, 2002 in Tomah, WI to Paul and Laurie (Anderson) Voigt.

Luke was entering the fourth grade at Iron River Elementary School.

He was a great son and older brother. He loved Jesus and he loved life.

In addition to his parents, Luke is survived by one brother, Daniel; maternal grandparents, Carl and Elizabeth Anderson; paternal grandparents, Frank and Mary Voigt, Pierz, MN; four aunts, Wendy (Rod) Brown, Terri (Tom) Bagwell; Vickie (Jon) Lintula, Julie (Lynn Derdoski) Voigt; three uncles, Randy (Gina) Anderson, Tom (Tracy) Voigt and Mark Voigt; many great aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Jacob.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM Wednesday, August 22, 2012 in the Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home and will continue at 10:00 AM Thursday, August 23, 2012 until the 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial in St. Anthony Catholic Church in Lake Nebagamon. Rev. Fr. Don Kania will be celebrant.

Pallbearers for the service will be Thad Lintula, Joshua Lintula, Mitchell Lintula, Jaan Lintula, Mark Voigt and Talitha Lintula.
