Lyle J. Severin, 84, South Range, died Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Golden Living Center of Superior, surrounded by his family.
He was born on October 20, 1929 In Superior to Peter and Emma (Royal) Severin.
He met Kay Johnson, the love of his life and they were married August 2, 1953.
They raised three children, Dave (Mary Pat), Doug (Debbie) and Laura (Charlie) Christianson, all of Superior.
He served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict.
He worked as a well driller for 50 years.
Lyle was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish.
In addition to his children, Lyle is survived by grandchildren, Andy (Jeanne ), Chris (Jessica), Scott, Steven, Anita (Duke) and Neil; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Stanley and two sisters, Delpha and Barbara
and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Kay, one son, Daniel; his parents; and many brothers and sisters.
Visitation will begin at 4:00 PM and will continue until the 5:00 PM Memorial Service on Monday, April 7, 2014 in the Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home, 1209 East 5th Street, Superior with Rev. H. Duane Aslyn, officiating

Burial will be in the Spring.
