Lynn Louise Parish Larson

Lynn Louise Parish Larson, Granka to her grandchildren, died on Sunday, May 10, 2020 at Superior Rehabilitation Center in Superior, WI. She was born on February 22, 1943 in Superior, WI. Lynn was the fourth of five children of Robert Edward Parish, Sr. and LuLu Louise Paulus Parish.

Lynn graduated from Superior East High School and the University of Wisconsin-Superior. She was a medical social worker in Wisconsin at Middle River and Parkland Health Facilities. She was a senior case manager for the Comprehensive Aids Program in Palm Beach, FL during her career.

Lynn was a lover of adventures, music, books, fluffy white clouds and blue skies, swimming in Lake Superior off Wisconsin Point, Lake Amnicon, and the Atlantic Ocean in Florida, angels, windchimes and all flowers, especially lilacs, daisies and peonies and most of all her beautiful family.

She is survived by her beloved son, Bradley Ronald Larson (Melissa), Superior, WI and his children (Granka’s grandchildren), Christopher Evan (Rachel) Stremmel and great-granddaughter, Harper Louise of Monticello, MN, Benjamin Daniel (Angela) Larson, Eden Prairie, MN, Amanda Katlynn (Devin Peterson) Larson, Brule, WI and step-granddaughters, Laurin and Mara McGillis, Superior, WI; also surviving stepson, Scott Ronald Larson and family, Cody Larson, Rachel Raaflab and her child, step great-grandchild, Lily, Poplar, WI as well as Brad and Scott’s father, Ronald C. Larson, Voyager Village, WI – Lynn leaves her loving husband, Bruce Wayne Larson, Brainerd, MN and stepsons, Wayne Larson, Manahga, MN and Terry Shane (Kim) Larson and step-grandchildren, Lucas and Norah Kate, Farmington, MN and Alex Corbin, Minneapolis, MN; siblings, Mark Edward (Jessica) Parish, Clearwater, FL and nephew, Benjamin Mark (Jessica) Parish, Red Hook, NY, sister, Robyn Elizabeth (Rich) Modjeska, Oakfield, WI and her baby sister, Kathleen Fay Parish and her children, favorite Aunt Lynnie’s nephew, Craig Pukema (Dee) Fitzgerald and their children, great nephew, Eric (Teal) Fitzgerald and great-niece, Leti, great-nephew, Daniel Fitzgerald and great-niece, Molly Fitzgerald, South St. Paul, MN, favorite Aunt Lynnie’s nephew, Patrick Mark (Rachel) Fitzgerald, Duluth, MN. She also leaves behind best lifelong friend, Georgeann (Dode) Cheney and family, Arden Hills, MN, Daniel E. Larson, Lake Amnicon and dear friends, Mark Rutherford and Tom Davis, West Palm Beach, FL and her favorite Uncle, Dick (Janice) Parish, Superior, WI.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bob and LuLu Paulus Parish, paternal grandparents, Vincent and Elizabeth Parish and maternal grandparents, George M. Sr. and Willamina Paulus, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins, infant brother, Robert Edward Parish Jr. and infant daughter, Jennifer Lynn Larson.

Lynn and her family wish to express their appreciation for the care she received from the staff at the Superior Rehabilitation Center and special thanks to Erica, Margaret, Jen, Lynn and Samantha, Rene, Sara and Brianna and to St. Mary’s Hospice.

Due to CDC guidelines and Governor mandates, services for Lynn will take place at a later date, service dates and times will be announced.
