Lynnette K. Johnson

Lynnette K. Johnson, 70, formerly of Superior, WI,  passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 in Largo, Florida surrounded by her family. She was born in Superior on June 1, 1947, the daughter of Bert and Ruth (Boswell) Chapman.

Lynnette graduated from Central High School in 1965 in Superior, WI. After high school, she attended Nursing School in South Carolina, and then she returned to Coon Rapids, MN. Lynnette married Larry Johnson on May 29, 1993, in their backyard in Coon Rapids, where they lived for 27 years. In 1978, she started as a clerk with the CP RAILWAY, later moving into the Exempt Management position and retiring in 2008 after 30 years of service. She loved spending time with her family, especially at their lake home in Barnes, WI and the winter months at their home in Florida.  She also enjoyed her meetings with her Birthday Club and Card ladies.

Lynnette is survived by her husband, Larry Johnson of 25 years; two sons, Pat Erickson  (Lezlee) and Paul (Ali) Johnson; one sister, Betty (Jack) Hautaluoma; four grandchildren; Brianna, Andrew, Courtney, and Reed; one niece, Jodi (Jim) Frantz; and one nephew, Grey Hautaluoma (Peter). Lynnette was preceded in death by her parents, Bert and Ruth (Boswell) Chapman and her first husband, Jack Carvell in 1968.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Concordia Lutheran Church, 1708 John Avenue in Superior with Pastor Michelle Rowell, officiating. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
