Margaret "Peggy" A. Heaslip

Margaret A. “Peggy” Heaslip, 60, Duluth resident, died Monday, October 20, 2014 at Solvay Hospice House in Duluth.

She was born on March 24, 1954 in Duluth, MN to John and Margaret (Saulter) Heaslip.

Peggy worked at WDSM TV, HDC (Human Development Center) and at the Harmony House.

She was a member of the Floodwood Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school.

Peggy is survived by one daughter, Anne (Tyrone) Campbell, St. Cloud, MN; three grandchildren; four brothers, John (Kathryn) Heaslip, Dalton, AL, Bruce and Michael Heaslip, both of Duluth, MN and Jeffrey Heaslip, Superior, WI; one uncle, two aunts and many nieces, nephews and cousins; and her loving partner, Eugene Clausen, Duluth, MN. She also had many close friends and relatives in Alcoholics Anonymous.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Margaret.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at the Downs-LeSage Funeral Home, 1304 Hammond Avenue, Superior and continue until the 11:00 AM memorial service with Pastor Gene Beckstrom, Senior Pastor of Northern Minnesota Ministries officiating.
