Marguerite D. Danielson

Marguerite D. Danielson, 88, lifelong Superior resident, died Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Harmony House in Superior.
She was born on February 18, 1922 in Superior, WI to George and Hedwig (Pluff) Hughes.

Marguerite graduated in 1940 from the former Cathedral High School.
She was employed as a LPN for St. Mary’s Superior/East End Clinic for many years retiring in 1981.
She was a longtime member of Cathedral of Christ the King Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court #1190. She was also a member of the Nemadji Women’s Golf League.

Marguerite is survived by one son, Clarence (Darlene) Danielson, Brentwood, TN; one daughter, Joan (Tim) Conley, Los Gatos, CA; six grandchildren, Rachel, Sarah, Kristin, Craig, Steven and David; seven great-grandchildren, Marguerite “Maggie”, Olivia, Charlie, Kaela, Payton, Stella and Timothy and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband Clarence “Pete” Danielson, one daughter Susan Thompson, sisters, Lucille Nelson and Lorraine Jankowski and her parents, Hedwig and George Hughes.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM, Friday, October 22, 2010 with a Catholic Daughters of the Americas Rosary at Cathedral of Christ the King Catholic Church and continue until the 12:00 PM Memorial Mass of Christian Burial with Rev. Fr. Andrew Ricci as celebrant.

Inurnment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
