Marilyn K. Keeler, 79, lifelong area resident died peacefully in the early hours on Friday, January 28, 2022, with her family by her side at home in Lake Nebagamon, WI.
She was born in Superior, WI, August 20, 1942, the daughter of William and Eileen (Chandler) Braman.
After high school, Marilyn went on to further her education earning her Licensed Practical Nursing degree. She dedicated her life to the care and well being of others and worked at Middle River Health and Rehabilitation Center for over 25 years. Marilyn was united in marriage to Allan Keeler, September 15, 1962, and they celebrated fifty-nine years of marriage before her passing.
She loved spending time outdoors, having picnics with her grandchildren and especially enjoyed fishing in northern Minnesota and traveling with her husband in their motor home. Above all, Marilyn loved caring for her family, friends and neighbors, and especially enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and the summers swimming in the family pool. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be dearly missed by all!
She is survived by her beloved husband, Allan Keeler, Lake Nebagamon, WI; daughters, Julie (Dale) Lindsey, Lake Nebagamon, WI; Joan (Bob) Keeler-Pellman, Lake Nebagamon, WI; and Jody (Tony Kozlowski) Anttila, South Range, WI; grandchildren, Alex, Meghan, Hanna, Zak, Brody, Noah, Holly; great-grandchildren, Landry, Frankie, Layla, and Caleb; sister, Joannie (Mike) Hoffman, Superior, WI; brothers, William “Bill” Braman, II, Earl (Harriet) Braman, Timothy (Jean) Braman, all of Superior, WI; Cousin Arnie Sather; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Richie & Cindy Trebilcock for coming over for 3:00 p.m coffee and prayers this past year. Those were precious and meaningful visits.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
