Mark S. Carlson

Mark S. Carlson, 63, Lake Nebagamon, WI resident, died on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at his home. He was born on December 17, 1952 in Superior, WI to Dale and Jean (Potosky) Carlson.

Mark was the CEO and co-owner of Tri-State Business Systems retiring in 2012 after forty-two years.

He married Anne Pluntz on July 11, 1985 and celebrated thirty years of marriage.

Mark enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, sailing and scuba diving. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Mark is survived by his wife, Annie; father, Dale Carlson, Iron River, WI; two brothers, Scott (Michele) Carlson, Superior, WI and Todd (Sherrie) Carlson, Iron River, WI and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother Jean in 2013 and a brother David in 2010.

A Time of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2016 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at the Downs-LeSage Funeral Home, 1304 Hammond Avenue, Superior.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in Mark’s name to the Diabetes Foundation.
