Mark Wayne Moore

Mark Wayne Moore, 51, resident of Superior, WI died suddenly Tuesday, December 14, 2021, in his home.

He was born in Willoughby, Ohio July 5, 1970, the son of Richard and Janet (Lanning) Moore.

Mark worked as a truck driver for many years.  He was a member of the V.F.W. in Ohio and he enjoyed fishing.  He was a skilled handy man and electrician who could fix many things.  Mark was a talented musician and especially enjoyed playing his guitar and singing.  He had a love for life and loved people.  Mark will always be remembered for his practical jokes, kind nature and willingness to help others.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his children, Richard Moore, Cassandra Gunter, and Mark Moore, Jr., all of Ohio; six grandchildren; mother, Janet Moore, Superior, WI; sisters, Diana (Larry) Hicks, of North Carolina, and Patricia (Michael) Godbold, of South Carolina; brothers, Richard L. (Teresa) Moore, Jr., and James A. (Rhonda) Moore, all of South Carolina, Matthew (Karla) Moore, of Ohio, several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Richard L. Moore, Sr.

Per the family’s wishes, private family services will be held.
