Mark Clayton Orville Treviño, 65, lifelong Superior resident, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, in Coon Rapids, MN, after a short illness surrounded by family and close friends. He was born June 23, 1957, the son of Jose Treviño Jr; and Emily Geisert.
He was an avid Green Bay Packer and Boston Red Sox fan. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family and friends watching sports, camping and fishing. After his retirement, he found a new joy in going to Wisconsin Point walking and collecting agates. He spent most weekends coming down to Minneapolis to be with his daughters and grandchildren, where he always found a project to keep him busy.
He proudly told stories of his days spent training for Grandma’s Marathon, which he completed numerous times. He was a person everyone could count on for anything, he was always willing to help or lend a hand. He started working at a very young age shoe shining and worked numerous jobs throughout his life, he was one of the hardest working people and prided himself on that. He also was a proud north ender of Superior Wisconsin. He was a kind soul, who will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him, to know him is to love him. In his words “Don’t cry as I’m going to be fine, I have so much waiting on the other side, I will be your special eagle flying high in the sky.”
Mark is survived by lifelong companion and mother of his daughters, Rhonda Orville; daughters Jamie (Fawaz) Koudsi, Angela Orville, and Sarah (Zachary Barr) Orville; grandchildren, Kai, Tayvion, Zakiyah, Amani; siblings Paula (Ron) Luostari, Scott (DeAnne) Orville, Paulette (Bob) Emery, Lisa Urbaniak, Tim Geisert, Yolanda Treviño (Alcario) DeLeon, Richard (Beverly) Treviño, Robert Treviño, Olga Treviño, Irma Treviño (Merced) Charo, Gloria Treviño (Andres) Garcia, Tony Trejo; many loving nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, brother and sister in-laws, in addition to close friends, he considered family. He is also survived by his tia Olivia Treviño, whom he shares a special bond.
