Mark W. "Snake" Sather

Mark W. “Snake” Sather, 42, Superior, died unexpectedly on Monday, October 17, 2011 in Superior.

He was born on November 29, 1968 in Superior to John and Marlys (Decker) Sather.

He was employed as a warehouse worker for a local building supply company.

Mark loved sports, enjoyed playing baseball and was an avid Denver Broncos fan.

He loved music, enjoyed playing the guitar and cooking. He especially loved spending time with his son Aiden.

In addition to his son Aiden, Mark is survived by his mother Marlys Sather, Superior; three sisters, Robbyn (Jon Meteraud) Stariha, Wascott, WI, Tammi Dailey, Superior, Suzanne (James) Olson, South Range, WI; two brothers, Michael (Lynn) Sather, Duluth, MN, Patrick (Louise) Sather, Superior and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by this father and a brother-in-law, Mark Dailey.

Visitation will begin at 11:30 AM on Friday, October 21, 2011 until the 1:00 PM Memorial Service in the Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home.
Pastor Patrick Ziems of Zion Lutheran Church will officiate.
