Mark R. Wendorf

Mark (“Randy”) Wendorf, 71, resident of Superior, WI, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 13, 2024, in his home. He was born in Washington, D.C. on December 2, 1953, the son of Edgar and Grace (Beegle) Wendorf.

Randy grew up in Superior and graduated from Superior Senior High School. Shortly thereafter he began his career as a sailor on the Great Lakes.

He was a nature lover who took considerable pride in his gardening and landscaping. Randy also loved spending time with his friends, whether it was shooting pool, fishing, watching football or helping them in any way he could. He enjoyed having Tuesday lunches with his apartment complex neighbors. Randy was passionate about photography, and he will be remembered for his keen eye on finding the most beautiful subjects.

Randy will be forever missed by his close circle of friends, Joe Carlson, Suzi "Sis" Stilley and Joel Varela, Debbie and Randy Else, and Bobbi and Keith Morningstar; and by his faithful feline companion, Princess.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, special friend Judy Carlson, and loving cat Gizmo.

A Celebration of Randy's Life will be held at a later date. Date and time will be published.
