Marlene K. Luomanen

Marlene (Barr) Luomanen, 66, Superior, died Monday, April 22, 2013 at Essentia Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth.
She was born on August 10, 1946 in Tomahawk, WI to Alta Jordon.

She married Arne Luomanen on August 8, 1992 in Superior and celebrated twenty years of marriage.

Marlene is survived by her husband Arne; two daughters, Stacey Luomanen and Lisa Hlavacek; son, Dale Hlavacek; her twin sister, Darlene Byorni, Superior; brother, Ron (Roseanne) Barr, Tomahawk, WI and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM on Thursday, April 25, 2013 in the Downs-LeSage Funeral Home, 1304 Hammond Avenue, Superior and continue until the 11:00 AM memorial service.
