Marvin L. Mullikin

August 9, 1938 — March 11, 2019

Marvin L. Mullikin, 80, of South Range, WI, died peacefully at home Monday, March 11, 2019, with his loving wife and close family friends, Cindy and Ken Hoge, at his side. He was born on August 9, 1938 in Crawford County, WI to Alfred and Josephine (McDowell) Mullikin.

Marvin graduated from Reedsburg High School in 1956. He went on to serve his country honorably in the United States Army National Guard.

He was a communications installer for the former Western Electric and AT&T for 30 plus years. Marvin married Sharon MacLellan on February 6, 1965 at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Solon Springs, recently celebrating 54 years of marriage.

He enjoyed crossword puzzles with his wife, pinecone picking with his family, hunting and going to the casinos with great friends. He had a passion for Green Bay Packer football and especially loved anything and everything to do with his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Maxine Pfefferkorn, Marvis Kaisler, and Helen Staskal; and brothers, Keith and Kenneth Mullikin.

Marvin is survived by his beloved wife, Sharon; children, Loren (Julie) Mullikin, Hudson, WI; Diana (Gary) Sowada, Oakdale, MN; Carole (Eric) Schurtz, Glenwood City, WI; Keith (Peggy) Mullikin, Ironwood, MI; and Maria (Don) Fitzpatrick, Davie, FL; grandchildren; Cassondra (Andres) Abraham, Emily Mullikin, Michael Sowada, Catherine Schurtz, Jacob Schurtz, Jonathan Sowada, and Andrew Mullikin; one sister, Beatrice Keller, Verona, WI; and sister-in-law, Mary Lou Mullikin, Kenosha, WI. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives.

Friends and relatives may visit with family from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2019, with a scripture service at 7:00 p.m., at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 11651 US Highway 53, Solon Springs, WI, and one hour prior to Mass, with a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at 12 p.m. with Rev. Fr. James Kinney as celebrant.

Burial will be in St. Pius X Cemetery in Solon Springs, at a later date.
