Mary Kay (Ciocarelli) Randell, 55, Green Bay, formerly of Superior, WI passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2010 with her family by her side after a very courageous battle with breast cancer.
Mary Kay was born on September 27, 1954 in Superior the daughter of the late Russell and Mary (Quinn) Ciocarelli.
She was a 1972 graduate of Superior Senior High School.
Mary Kay worked at Ponderosa Steak House in Superior for nearly twenty years. She moved to Green Bay in 1998 and was the manager of Sav-Half Greeting Cards for many years and loved being able to help people.
Mary Kay enjoyed listening to Country Music and really liked to go Line Dancing. She loved motorcycles and had many memorable times riding on the back of Wayne’s Harley. She was a member of the Ladies of Harley Club.
Mary Kay loved watching the display of fireworks on the 4th of July. She also was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.
Mary Kay is survived by her loving husband Wayne whom she has known for over 21 years, her daughter Mindy Baski, Superior, WI; Her son Charlie Baski, St. Charles, MO; her step children Megan (Jack) Grew, Superior, WI; Alyssa (Timothy) Barnes, Marshfield, WI; 2 grandchildren Madeleine, Vivian, two sisters, Susan (Dale) Van Overmeiren and Annie Ciocarelli, one brother John Ciocarelli. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother Patrick.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM, Sunday, July 25, 2010 in the Downs-LeSage Funeral Home, 1304 Hammond Avenue, Superior and continue until the 2:00 PM memorial service with Rev. Fr. James Tobolski officiating.
Inurnment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Mary Kay’s daughter, Mindy is walking the Breast Cancer Walk in Minneapolis for the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure event. She is walking twenty miles a day for three days. Should friends desire, memorials may be made in Mary Kay’s name to: Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure. The family also would like to ask everyone to wear orange to the service in memory of Mary Kay.
