Mary Jane Kallenburger

Mary Jane Kallenburger, 93, Superior resident, died Monday, May 16, 2016 at Essentia Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth. She was born on July 15, 1922 in Crookston, MN to Oscar and Palmire Sauve.

She was a waitress and cook for various restaurants in the Twin Ports area for many years.

Mary Jane is survived by one daughter, Sharon Benoit, Duluth, MN; one sister, Lorraine Schmidt-Brown, Red Lake Falls, MN; two brothers, Jimmy (Elizabeth) Sauve and Jerry (Marlene) Sauve and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Max, son Fritz and numerous brothers and a sister.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
