Maryann Sullivan Kulig, 74, of Superior, passed away on March 7, 2025, at Aspirus St. Luke's Hospital.
Mary was born on July 30, 1950, in Superior to Annabelle and Paul Sullivan. She graduated from Superior Senior High in 1968 and went on to work at Wisconsin Bell, followed by Minnesota Power Company as a Drafter, and later with The Superior School District. She retired in 2006 after a dedicated career.
Mary was a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, sister, and friend. She enjoyed morning walks, spending time with close friends, and her summers at the cabin in Iron River, where she relished pontoon rides and time spent with her granddaughter. Mary was also a proud member of the Lions Club in Iron River, where she actively participated in the parade, helping with the rides and cardboard races alongside her husband, Dan, at the annual Blueberry Festival. Mary and Dan also enjoyed their winters in Venice, Florida.
Mary is survived by her husband, Dan; son, Paul; granddaughter, Kinsley; daughter-in-law, Kristen; sister Kathleen Braaten; brother-in-law, Roger Braaten; and nephews, Jay and Ryan Braaten. She was proceeded in death by her parents.
We find comfort in knowing that Mary's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
