Mary Jean Springer (Tyson, Brackett & Miner)

Mary Jean Springer (Tyson, Brackett & Miner), 83, Minong, WI resident, died Monday, September 7, 2020 at Essentia Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth, MN. She was born on February 24, 1937 in Iron River, WI to Irving and Lorraine (Schachte) Springer.

She received her GED in 1967. Mary was a C.N.A. for Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Center in Superior for many years. She loved to travel.

Mary is survived by three daughters, Kathleen Miner, Gordon, WI, Tammy (Ronald) Horner, El Dorado, CA and Lisa (Kevin) Johnson, South Range, WI; one son, Mark (Robin) Tyson, Hayward, WI; 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren; Step-children Nancy, Barbara, Jack, Theresa, Vanessa and Dafney Miner; two sisters, Julie (Jeff) Rozowski, Superior, WI and Deloris Duffy, Wonderlake, IL; and two brothers, John “Butch” Springer, Barnes, WI and David (Carla) Springer, MO.

She is preceded in death by her husbands, Jack Miner, Brian Brackett and Ronald Tyson, son Lyle (Mary) Tyson, infant son Ronald Tyson, her parents, sister Gail Smith and brother Robert Springer.

Family will be planning a Celebration of Life and services in the future.
