Maryann Vennerstrom

MaryAnn Vennerstrom, 71, resident of Cloquet, MN, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2024, at Bayshore Residence and Rehabilitation in Duluth, MN. She was born on August 20, 1953, the daughter of Ernest and Betty (Westlund) Vennerstrom.

She graduated from Northwestern High School, in Maple, WI. Maryann then attended technical school in Virginia, MN earning her degree in Culinary Arts. She worked as a chef in Lake Nebagamon, WI for many years.

Maryann was an amazing chef and loved to cook, especially for her family and friends. She was also very creative and enjoyed making all sorts of different crafts.

She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and sister who will be dearly missed by her son Aaron (Cynthia) Vennerstrom, Cloquet, MN; grandchildren Gage Hotchkiss, Shell Lake, WI, Stefen Humphrey, Cloquet, and Savannah Ward, Cloquet; sister Karen (Michael) Lawler, Lake Nebagamon; brother David (Stephanie) Vennerstrom, St. Paul, MN; and several nieces and nephews.

Maryann is preceded in death by her parents and brother Daniel Vennerstrom.

A Visitation will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Floodwood Baptist Church, 109 W. 7th Ave in Floodwood, MN, and will continue until the Memorial Service at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Steve Ario officiating.
