Mernnie Kotter-Bellino, 94,longtime Superior area resident, died Friday, February, 4, 2011 at the Golden Living Center, Superior.
She was born in Duluth, Minnesota on April 28, 1916, the daughter of Carl and Selma (Olson) Halverson.
Mernnie was co-owner of Kotter McKee Greenhouse for many years. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the I.A. of M. Auxiliary # 26 of the Ladies Machinists. Mernnie was a former member of Holy Assumption Catholic Church.
Mernnie is survived by two daughters, Rita Kotter, Boulder, Colorado and Janet (Frank) Noland, Superior; one son, Roger (Marilyn) Kotter, Escondido, California; eight grand children; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Edward Kotter; second husband, Frank Bellino; two brothers, Clayton and Clyde Halverson; and one son, Jerome Edward Kotter.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, Thursday, February 10, 2011 at Holy Assumption Catholic Church and continue until the11:00 AM, Mass of Christian Burial with Rev. Fr. Ronald Olson as celebrant.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Superior.
