Michael A. Degraef

Michael A. DeGraef, 56, lifelong Superior resident died Saturday, April 11, 2020 at Essentia Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth, MN. He was born in Superior, December 30, 1963 the son of Clifford and Beverly (LaJoie) DeGraef.

He was a 1981 graduate of Superior Senior High School. He was an employee of Miner’s Inc., at SuperOne Foods in Superior.
Mike enjoyed cooking and served many years as a chef. He was an avid Green Bay Packer fan, and loved spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his mother, Beverly DeGraef, Superior, WI; brothers, Peter DeGraef, South Range, WI, Louis (Pam Gidleys) DeGraef, Superior, WI, and Ronald DeGraef, Superior, WI; sisters, Valerie (Blane) Bacon, of New York, and Jeanette (Dennis) Olson, Adams, WI; several nieces and nephews; and close cousin, Paul (Madeline) Koch, Solon Springs, WI.

He is preceded in death by his father, Clifford DeGraef; brothers, Jim, Wayne, and Ed DeGraef; and sister, Roberta DeGraef.

Per Mike’s wishes, no public services will be held.
